Tina Mastrucci, 88, of Old Forge, died Thursday at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. She was the widow of Leo Mastrucci, who died in 2008.
Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Secondo and Eugenia Caparvi Galletti. She was a 1946 graduate of Old Forge High School. Tina and her husband owned and operated the former Mastrucci Grocery Store in Old Forge. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge.
The family wants to thank Dr. Armando Sallavanti, the staff of Moses Taylor Hospital and the staff of Scranton Manor for their support and kindness.
Surviving are a son, Vince and wife, Nancy, Old Forge; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Primo, Dominick and Francis Galletti; two sisters, Jennie Boccolini and Enis Nese.
The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at the Prince of Peace Parish, St. Mary's of the Assumption Church, 123 W. Grace St., Old Forge. Interment, Old Forge Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
