Obituary of Angela M. Mineo

     Angela M. Mineo, 85, of Old Forge, entered into eternal rest Sunday, surrounded by her beloved family at Allied Hospice Center, Scranton.  She was the widow of the late Richard M. Mineo who passed away in 2003. 

     Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Theresa M. Vender Mancuso. She was a 1949 graduate of Scranton’s Central High School and Lackawanna Business College. Prior to retirement, her and her husband owned and operated the Busy Bee Dress Store, Old Forge. She was a devoted member of the Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge. 

     Angela’s strong faith guided her throughout her life. Angela will always be remembered as a woman who was strong, loving, compassionate and who endeavored to always do right by others. 

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Kenneth Sebastianelli for the compassionate care given to Angela.

     Angela is survived by two sons, Richard T. and wife Lynne, Thomas M. and William Davis all of Old Forge, a brother, Carl J. Mancuso and wife Rose, Bloomfield, NJ, a grandson, Richard T. Mineo, Fair Haven, NJ, nieces, and nephews.

     The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge followed by a 10 a.m. mass at the Prince of Peace Parish – St. Mary’s Church, 123 West Grace Street, Old Forge. Internment Old Forge Cemetery.

     Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
