Rosemarie Balzano, 83, of West Pittston and formerly of Old Forge, passed Thursday at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.

Rosemarie was a devoted mother and grandmother. There was nothing in this world she cherished more than her daughter and three grandchildren. She had a very special bond with her twin sister. Rosemarie’s unconditional love and the beautiful memories of her will forever live on in our hearts.

Rosemarie is survived by her daughter, Maria Baron, Old Forge, three grandchildren, Robert, Nicole, and Brittany, a sister, Jean Marie Collier and husband George, Mystic, CT, nieces, nephews and several cousins.

She was also preceded in death by her son in-law, Robert Baron, and two brothers, James and Alphonse Balzano.
