Dale always greeted my wife and I warmly when we entered the winery. We have been patrons since it's beginning in Old Forge. Over the years my dad and stepmom become great friends with Dale and his wife. When my family was in a time of need awaiting a heart surgery for my infant daughter, Dale and Natalie stepped forward with a generous donation. They donated wine bottles to be sold at the fundraiser event which included a picture of my sweet daughter, Estelle, right on the label. We will never forget their kindness. I hope Natalie and the rest of Dale's family can find comfort in the fact that Dale was a great man. He will be missed. Rest in peace Dale.

Your life book opened in 1963 , you were courageous and daring while filling your book, as you grew older, you faced challenges while learning to do your best.!! You lived, loved and laughed while following your dreams, You believed in your self and your dreams,
your life book now closed, and taken with you, there are many more chapters still to be written by those you have left behind.
You will be missed by those left behind . As they write their life book, they will be finishing your life book, while adding to their own.
You have taken a piece of all of our hearts with you. But we take comfort you are watching over us .

This is going WAY back, but I remember how excited we were when Uncle Dick and Aunt Della welcomed Dale into their family! Such great JOY filled that house when Dale arrived! I am one of Dale's many first cousins, and have many amazing memories of growing up on the Leatherman farm together. How hard it is to release our loved ones into the arms of Jesus, and yet I am imagining that it is with that same JOY and EXCITEMENT that Dale was welcomed into Heaven. Your hearts will go on, albeit with a great hole in them. Carry Dale with you, as you hold on to each other through this long journey of grief and loss.
Sending Deepest Sympathy, Doreen (Hange) Beidler

We are so sorry for your loss and the pain you are feeling. Dale will be missed by so many. His hearty laugh and quick sense of humor, the way he could relate to others and quickly build a bond will always be how I remember him. At family reunions he was sure to go from table to table making sure to catch up with as many as possible. And that was a lot!
We’ve been praying that you feel God’s presence as you face the days ahead and that your memories will bring joy in having had him in your life.
With love,
Scott and Deb (Leatherman) Seuren

Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the entire family. We had the pleasure of meeting Dale and Natalie several years ago in Old Forge. Like his son Jake, Dale had an easiness, a warm spirit and beautiful soul that made you want to spend more time with him.
I spoke with Dale again by phone last summer and told him how impressed I was with Jacob and how happy I was that Jake and my daughter are in a relationship.
I am truly sorry that Dale and I won’t have more conversations, but feel very fortunate to have met him.
Again, we are so incredibly sorry for your loss.
