Obituary of Eda A. Carrotto
Eda A. Carrotto, 73, of Nicholson, passed away Monday at home. She was married to Frank Carrotto. The couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on July 26, 2024.
Born on September 25, 1950, in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Riviello Lillis. Eda was a graduate of Riverside High School’s Class of 1968. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a pharmacy technician.
In addition to her husband, Frank, Eda is survived by a son, Michael Carrotto and his wife, Jaclyn, Jessup, two daughters, Jenny Loretz and husband Jason, Williamsville, NY, Sara Brzycki and husband Matthew, Archbald, six grandchildren, Michael Jr. and Ryan Carrotto, Jacob and Megan Loretz, Alexander and Aria Brzycki, nieces, and nephews.
Eda was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Albert, three brothers, John, Daniel, and Joseph Lillis.
Eda loved her family tremendously and enjoyed spending time with them. She also had a love of nature. Moving to Nicholson enhanced that love. She would love to sit and watch the animals and birds and tell her family all about what she saw. Her favorite were the hummingbirds.
At the request of Eda’s family, funeral arrangements will be private at the convenience of the family.
