Obituary of James D. Bonn
James D. Bonn, 76, of Nazareth, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at home.
Born in Dallas, he was the son of the late William H. and Pauline (Bednarski) Bonn. He was a graduate of Dallas High School and Muhlenburg University. Prior to his retirement, he was a chemist for J.T. Baker Chemical Corporation, Phillipsburg, New Jersey. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a member of the Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas.
James was a distinguished master marksman and an avid outdoor sportsman.
He is survived by a son, Jay, Branchville, New Jersey; two daughters, Colleen and husband, Bill Nocera, Old Forge, Kara and husband, James Aragona, Atlanta, Georgia; a sister, Rosemary Scott, Fort Myers, Florida; six grandchildren, Jayne Ann, Kara Rose, Jim, Jeff, Sean and Connor; four great-grandchildren, Jenna, Lilly, Jaelyn and Jeffrey and nieces and nephews.
The funeral Mass will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Gate of Heaven Church, 40 Machell Ave., Dallas. Interment St. John's the Baptist Cemetery, Dallas. Relatives and friends may call 12:30 p.m. to service in the church.
