Obituary of Julie Bruno
Julie Bruno, 92, of Old Forge, died Thursday at the Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmine, who died in 1995.
Born in Taylor, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Lukasiewicz, she graduated from Taylor High School. She was a member of the Taylor Senior Citizens' Association, the Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge, and its parish society.
Julie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to St. Mary's Villa and the staff of Unit 33, especially Debbie and Jeanie, for their compassionate care.
Surviving are a daughter, Arlene Kopcza and husband, Daniel, Moscow; a granddaughter, Dr. Karolyn Kopcza, New York City; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Stella Ezdebski; and four brothers, Joseph, John, Milford and Chester Lukasiewicz.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Parish, St. Mary's Church, West Grace Street, Old Forge. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Parish.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Villa, 516 St. Mary's Villa Road, Elmhurst Twp., PA 18444, or to the donor's favorite charity.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge.
