Obituary of Frank D. DiSimoni
Frank D. DiSimoni, 51, of Scranton died Wednesday at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.
Born in Old Forge, son of Marlene Uhrin DiSimoni and the late Daniel DiSimoni, he was a graduate of Old Forge High School's class of 1980.
He was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge.
Frank enjoyed music and played with local bands. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed camping and was an animal lover.
He had a great sense of humor, and was quite the character. He will be sadly missed.
Also surviving are two brothers, John and Philip, both of Old Forge; two sisters, Margaret Bird, Scranton; and Marne DiSimoni McLaughlin and husband, Tom, Old Forge; niece, Kayla Bird; nephew, Gary Bird; and his nephew and godson that he adored, Tommy McLaughlin.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Louis; and a nephew, Danny DiSimoni.
The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge, followed by a Mass at 10 at the Prince of Peace Parish, St. Mary's Church, 123 W. Grace St., Old Forge. Interment Old Forge Cemetery.
