Obituary of Ralph F. Jimmie

Ralph F. "Buda" Jimmie, 75, of Old Forge, died Tuesday at the VA Medical Center, Plains Twp. He was married to the former Patricia Rafalko. The couple celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Ralph and Anna Jimmie, he attended Scranton schools and was a graduate of Johnson Technical School. He was an Army veteran. Before his retirement, he was owner/operator of Auto Sales and Service, Old Forge. Ralph enjoyed classic cars, attended many car shows, and was a member of the Villa Capri Cruisers. He was a member of the Sons of Italy and the Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge.

Surviving are a son, Steven; and a daughter, Denise, both of Old Forge; a brother, Thomas Jimmie, Dunmore; and companion, Carlyn Bogdon, Trucksville.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Ralph "Bomber" Jimmie; and a brother, Lawrence.

The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge, followed by Mass at 10 in Prince of Peace Parish, St. Mary's Church, 123 W. Grace St., Old Forge. Interment, Old Forge Cemetery.
