Obituary of Mae Tedesco

Mae Tedesco, 83, of Elmhurst, formerly of Old Forge, died Thursday at St. Mary's Villa, Elmhurst. She was the widow of the late Sandy R. Tedesco, who died in 2010.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Yeck Tiddick. She was a member of the St. Eulalia Church, Elmhurst.

Mae was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to her family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of St. Mary's Villa for the compassionate care Mae received during her stay.

Surviving is a daughter, Lori Ann Tedesco Williams and husband, John, Elmhurst; four grandchildren, Arthur, Jared, Ethan and Ian; one brother, Michael Tiddick, New York; nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by a brother, George Tiddick; and two sisters, Irene Lucas and Margaret Barna.

The funeral will be Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in the St. Eulalia Church, Elmhurst, to be celebrated by the Rev. Donald Williams. Entombment Cathedral Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from noon until time of Mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Geisinger Centenniel Fund or St. Mary's Villa.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge.
